THE ICON PRO PHOTO LAB CAPTURES A NEW LOOK
IN HONOR OF ITS 10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Celebrating ten years of service to pro photographers worldwide, The Icon is committed to its clients. Rebranding their identity, The Icon has launched a new website and promotional materials, a redesigned lobby with a private lounge specifically for clients, and a lobby gallery to showcase client’s work in the near future. The Icon is the premiere photographic imaging resource to photographers on the West Coast and provides traditional lab, digital capture, RAW files, imaging, retouching, scanning, printing and archive services.

Since opening the doors in 1998, The Icon has built its business around the philosophy of providing the best possible service for the client. The Icon’s roots continue to be firmly planted in traditional lab services but have evolved into the digital realm to keep up with the demands of the industry. “Being on the cutting-edge is a constant challenge for us at The Icon, but because of our commitment to our clients, who demand the latest in technology to create their art, we are here to service them,” states Ramesh Venugopal, Founder and CEO of The Icon. Over the past decade The Icon has embraced the advance of everything digital with the introduction of digital retouching and enhancement, digital scanners, and the latest in digital printing services offering both Lightjet and Epson archival prints up to 60”.

“We want to thank our customers for their loyalty over the past ten years, and in celebration of our anniversary, we are honoring our clients in a relaunch of our identity,” states Ramesh. Highlights of the new identity include a new website redesign (www.iconla.com) and a promotional ad campaign showcasing Icon artists and their projects. Fine photographers like Dewey Nicks’ commercial photography used in studio pic campaigns and luxury car promotions, to Sebastian Copeland who recently exhibited at the United Nations with his Antarctica: The Global Warning traveling photography exhibit, partner with and rely on The Icon to enhance their photography beyond imagine. Highlighted in the ad campaign, Dewey Nicks remarks “As my post production partner for over ten years, I have consistently been amazed by The Icon’s unparalleled knowledge, craftsmanship, and impeccable service.”

Located in Los Angeles on the venerable “Museum Row,” The Icon’s façade has been redesigned to utilize the large picture windows as client galleries. “What better way to show off our services than to display the completed works of our client’s art for all to see. As a destination boulevard for art aficionados, we are in the perfect location,” comments Ramesh.

The Icon is giving back to its clients with the opening of a new client lounge -- a private workspace, equipped with digital workstations, internet access, a light box for viewing work and free consultation from The Icon fine art specialists. In addition, The Icon is hosting free weekly workshops, to explore the newest digital and photographic techniques, led by industry expert and Icon specialist, Lee Varis, as well as other high-profile guest speakers. Information on the workshops can be found on their website at www.iconla.com.
