Choose your quantity, scan delivery format, and scan size. You can add on photo enhancements and prints too!
STEP 2: SECURELY SHIP
After you place your order, add your tracking details to your profile with us so that we can keep track of your shipment.
STEP 3: WE SCAN AND RETURN
Once we receive your package, we’ll start scanning and processing any other services you select. Then, we’ll deliver scans based on your preferred format, and securely ship everything back to you.

How long does it take for Shoebox scanning?
Orders typically range from 2-4 weeks for completion from the time we receive your materials.
How will I receive my digital files?
- We offer various options for getting your files digitally, based on your convenience.
- Secure password protected web link to download files from (WeTrasfer)
- CD/DVD with files for easy at home retrieval
- USB flash drive with files for easy at home retrieval
- Large capacity hard drive with files for easy at home retrieval
How does shipping work?
- Drop off or ship us your photos or prints using your courier of choice. We highly recommend using tracking services for anything you feel is valuable as things sometimes get lost in the mail.
- During checkout, you can either choose to pick up your photos or prints at The Icon or have them shipped back using FedEx Ground. Pricing varies.
How are my digital files named?
Files will be labeled as numbers in ascending order based on how photos or prints are packaged and received. Example: 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
Can I have custom naming for my files?
Yes we offer custom naming services for files based on your specifications. When placing your order, select ‘Custom Naming’. If interested in this option, see below for suggestions on how to provide information for accurate service:
- Categorized Naming: Bundle photos/prints together if you want under a specific category and provide us category names. We recommend putting these photos/prints together in a separate envelope and labeling the envelope with the category name.
- Example file names: Bill’s Birthday_1, Bill’s Birthday_2, etc.
- Individualized Naming: We suggest providing a spreadsheet, inventory sheet, or writing in pencil on the back of each photo/print the desired name of the file.
If custom naming for files is chosen during online checkout but instructions are not provided, we will use our default naming convention.
Can I send photos that are still directly in a photo album?
We do not accept photos directly in a photo album at this time. If photo albums are shipped to us, the photos contained in the albums will not be scanned and included in the digital files provided.
What scan sizes do you offer?
- 300 DPI
- 600 DPI
- 1200 DPI
How large of a print can I make from the scans?
We offer either 4×6 or 5×7 prints directly from the scanned images. For larger prints, please contact us for options.
